Zando

Hi, I’m Julie and I’m The DemocrAtic Candidate for Easton city council

I’m Julie Zando-Dennis, a dedicated community advocate and long-time resident of the West Ward in Easton Pennsylvania. I’m proud to be the Democratic Candidate for Easton City Council in the upcoming election on November 4th. I seek to represent District 2, which encompasses Wards 5, 6, 7, 8E, and 8W in the West Ward.

My Platform

Dedicated to Empowering the community

The West Ward has been historically disenfranchised. It’s very important to encourage community engagement among the diverse constituencies in the West Ward. Make sure voices are heard and people can control their own destiny.

Committed To Improving Infrastructure

I will fight for infrastructure improvements like parking improvements, traffic calming, and sidewalk repairs.

Affordable Housing

For two years, Julie Zando-Dennis led a bold, community-driven effort to secure a HUD Choice Neighborhood grant—collaborating with local stakeholders to craft a transformative $50 million affordable housing plan and a $6 million critical community improvement strategy.

Though the Trump Administration dismantled the program before funding was awarded, Julie’s work laid the foundation for future investment in safe, dignified housing and neighborhood revitalization. She remains committed to turning visionary plans into real progress for Easton’s West Ward.

Devoted to West ward community revitalization

I support the growth of community-driven initiatives such as neighborhood cleanup events, public art projects and murals, youth programs, festivals, block parties, and home improvement efforts.
